Epoxy flooring is a seamless coating made from resin and hardener that bonds to concrete. It’s ideal for garages, basements, showrooms, warehouses, retail spaces, and even residential kitchens or patios—anywhere you want a durable, easy-to-clean surface.

A typical residential garage (about 400–500 sq ft) takes 2–3 days:

Day 1: Surface prep (grinding/crack repair)

Day 2: Epoxy primer and base coat

Day 3: Decorative flakes/metallic layer and clear topcoat, plus curing time

Properly installed epoxy withstands heavy foot and vehicle traffic, resists chemicals, oil, and stains, and won’t chip or peel easily. With a quality topcoat, it lasts 10–20 years in residential use and 5–10 years in heavy-duty commercial/industrial settings.

We mechanically grind or shot-blast the concrete to remove coatings, contaminants, and to profile the surface. Any cracks or spalling are patched, then the floor is cleaned and dried before epoxy application to ensure proper adhesion.

Very little—just regular sweeping and occasional mopping with a mild, non-acidic cleaner. The seamless, non-porous surface also prevents dust and allergens from settling in.

Once fully cured (typically 24–48 hours after final coat), epoxy floors are inert and non-toxic. During installation, we use low-VOC products and ensure proper ventilation to minimize odors.

In most cases, existing paints or sealers must be fully removed via grinding or blasting. This ensures a strong bond and prevents peeling or delamination.
